Should I make a landing page per niche or can I just make it my blog (WP). With it being a blog, there will be more content (good for rankings), but there wll be more articles for the visitor to get lost in. I like blogs, cuz I can make them, just wondering if this is the best way?
i do both. if a product is worth it i would buy a domain and setup a landing page. then blog about the product and direct to the landing page. if i do that the LP will be short and sweet. mostly that works. i also link direct to sales pages from blog posts tho. just test it yourself. hammer the social bookmarking sites.
If you have time to post a blog post every day, blog is the best way to go. If you don't have time or one day you are promoting a lot of niches at the same time, landing page is better because it requires less effort to maintain although you still need time to SEO it. But think twice before you make a blog, you always need fresh content for it. That's my advice.
What if I create a blog and a landing page on the same domain, but put the landing page on a subdomain or extensio. Then, direct people to the landing page from the blog posts and articles...Good idea or not?
If you have limited time, then I suggest you to use wp blog as your landing page. Choose a simple & SEO friendly theme so that your visitors doesn't get distracted by the graphics on the blog. Try to limit the number of post on the main page to about 2 articles so that your visitors will click on the link that you have on one of the blogpost on the first page.
Also, think about this - you can't flip a free site - but you can use a hosted blog (preferably with a .com) name as VIRTUAL REAL ESTATE to be sold at a later date if it creates 1 - 2K a month. Just a thought.....
