Landing Page Optimization

Hi, my question is related to how best to optimize a landing page 'off-site'. I have done all my keyword research and started building landing pages with good content on them. What should I do off site now and how should I prioritize it....writing articles related to the page, social bookmarks, building links with keyword targeted anchor text?

Any ideas or information would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    James

    Hi Kav,

After your done building your site, and your good to go... The only thing that's left for you is to build solid backlinks properly.

Off course, that's a whole other skill set all together.

But here's a great resource that i use, and it's worked pretty well for me surprisingly.

Don't worry, I'm not an affiliate in any way, just a fan & customer :)

His service is awsome, and you should start to see great results fast!

SEO is not really necessary on a landing/squeeze page. Why? Because you drive traffic to it differently than you would a website.

Using paid traffic is a great way to get solid traffic to your page, also, linking it into your other pages that are already doing well. If you have a "Sign Up" section in your blog or site it would do well.

Otherwise, most squeeze pages do not have enough content to even rank with SEO.

Focus your SEO efforts on your main site, not so much on your landing page.
