Can you check out my landing page please and give me some feedback. www.remove-stretchmarks.com Thanks!
your product does not appear to be a clickbank product. This would be the wrong forum for that... since you asked, i think you have the ingredients of a successful page, but, i think it could be executed better. i don't find your copy compelling. Its poorly written in spots. i find myself waflfing whether the products you push will even work. I think the ads and nav on the right side are a distraction. not crazy about the header. looks unprofessional. photos at the top aren't helping.
The testimonials/comments seem fake. The text seems really unorganized - it's like you weren't sure whether to do a blog or view site, so you just mashed the two ideas together in a really ineffective way.
This is not a clickbank product but there is no where on the this site for the affiliate i work for. I will have click bank ads on my site however instead of the AdSense. The testimonials are real...direclty from the owners site since i do not have my own yet. I am working on the header...i agree it does not look right. I am changing the menu's to the left side of the page and not make them "ther own" section. it will blend in better. any other suggestions????
Personally I would probably do away with the pink header and the "honest online" tag altogether, why put the thought into peoples head that you need to put that there in the first place. The first question this raises is "do I need to be worried that this site is not honest?" The other thing this would do is bring the site together and not make it seem so disjointed. So I would move the white part up right next to the top of the page and list the bullet points in the header copy lower down. Try and make the heading more compelling to people with this problem. I always look at it like this... Say you enter a room full of people with the problem you are trying to remedy, what could you say in just a few words that would make them take notice and approach you right then wanting to know more? Instead of walking into that room leading with "Cure Your Stretch Marks Today and Improve Your Confidence and Skin at The Same Time!" Why not start with "Shrink the stretch - Proven ways that the celebrities use to stay in shape, and look a million dollars in no time at all!" I would also get rid of the links on the right altogether unless you are using this for a blog? If this is a sales page leave the links at the footer of the page, and maybe enter a few as keyword links within the copy of that page. The main thing you want to do is give your visitors less choices of where to click on that page, because the only place they click that matters to you is the "BUY NOW" button, so the Adsense would go too. Another tip would be to use the pictures of the people that gave you the testimonials, that is if they and the FTC allow it Remember to create the copy to excite the visitor viewing your page, try with your words to put a picture of what they can get from buying your product in their heads. As long as its truthful that is Hope that helped a bit.
edawg: That helped alot. Sucks i have to rdesign my whole page but oh well. I am trying for SEO and was told by some "gurus" that i need the menu on the bottom as well the side??? Who knows? I look at my competition and they are nothing special so maybe i just need to follow their format of how they laid out the page? Cant hurt...they are #1 in Google Thanks again...Time to find a good copywriter and graphics guy...for Cheap!
It all depends on what you want that site to be, if its a blog then yes, keep the navigation at the top so people and bots can navigate around your site easily. But if you want a sales page, then you just really want people to click on the buy button and nothing else. I would work out what you want the site to be, and then decide from there.
See what your biggest competition are doing and get ideas, gather together the best parts of the site that you think stands out, and apply it to your own site without copying it. Do as they do, but better
