Hello Everyone, I seriously NEED to update my current landing page http://www.dansdrumlessons.co.uk/drum-lessons-subscribe/ I should include customer reviews which i have quite a few, and my newsletter sign up BUT would anyone know of any software that i can use to really smarten it up? Also any other tips would be great, My products are very good but aren't selling so i need to sort it out asap! Thanks in advance Dan
I'd rather stay away from WP if you are doing sales pages, only if you have some sort of plugin or theme package that does this specific thing. Wordpress is a content management and blogging platform primarily, so you should treat it like that. I have some of my own sales and squeeze page templates (HTML format with PSD files where applicable) on my harddrive, PM me if you are interested.
This is a very simple design and does not convert well for sales. Try using some sales page plugins that will make your wordpress blog look more professional and increase the conversion rate. Also using exit splash to offer rebate for exiting visitors.
Thanks GrandRoyal, Yes i need to increase conversion rate from zero I will look at WP sales pages but it has been said to stay away from WP for this sort of thing? Regards
I found a free wp sale page theme that you can customize according to your needs and looks great. http://www.gotoguyenterprises.com/blog/76/free-sales-page-website-template/ http://wp-saleslettertheme.com/ http://2sharemarketing.com/free-wordpress-sales-page-theme/
I've used one of those, thanks GrandRoyal, please let me know if you think i should add anything else, or take anything away. http://www.dansdrumlessons.co.uk/the-complete-drum-course/?page_id=85
I think your landing page looks more like a website, than a sales page. You need to take out all the distraction, like the navigation on top, and only leave the stuff that the buyer needs to read before buying. Also I think the page is quite short and you could definitely add more info.
Hey Dan We're kind of in a similar market ( well music anyway) and believe me I've put many long hours into putting a sales page together for my product. I'll try and give you a few pointers. The guy above bl4ckmaN is right first off in my opinion. Your sales page to me looks like it might work if you were an affiliate directing people away to a sales page but not as a vendor page. It does look a little unprofessional if you don't mind me saying so. One thing I learned was to avoid allowing your visitors any excuse to click away from your main sales copy so test losing all the links and just having a long page. Yes it may go against your natural instinct but it works best. People just get distracted otherwise. You also need a headline that grabs the attention and imagination of your reader and you need to give some insight as to what your course is about. Tell people who you are and why you are the person who can help them. Give yourself some credibility. Speak to them directly in your words. Center that video..it's your main marketing tool. I think you have a lot of work to do but good luck with it. I'm a little short of time at the moment but will try and come back again with a few more suggestions. If you want to check out my sales page for a few ideas then it's here: www.asapiano.com BTW..it never stands still and although I'm making sales now it's still an ongoing work in progress. I just converted my course to work with iPad which has definitely helped too. Good luck Shayman
Are you looking at the first one or the new one here http://www.dansdrumlessons.co.uk/the-complete-drum-course/
Yeah, you need to increase conversion rate first, for that you have to change some design and driving more traffic.
Hi Dan sorry for me just dipping in and out but I'm also working so finding the odd spare minute. The page looks better. If I were buying I think I'd need to know more about the course though. The testimonials are good, but I still don't really know who this guy Dan Jacobs is. I haven't watched the whole video so maybe it's in there...I'd place the video at the top of the page. The other thing I'd also be very careful of is the Newsletter 'opt in' at the bottom. We tested our site over and over with the same thing and guess what...people 'opted in' because it was the easy option. Did they buy? Not many. So I'd say do lot's of testing. Maybe for you this will work. I thought that we had loads of great things to tempt people with in our newsletter but it didn't work well, plus by all accounts it can put affiliates off marketing your product. Hope that helps. Keep testing!!!! Shayman
Sorry, my bad. I thought that you were maybe going down the affiliate route but looks like you're just selling through paypal indepentently maybe..ok, that's going to be tough for you to do alone I'd say. Another very quick point- are you just limiting your sales to the UK? If not, and I'll assume you want to sell world wide if you can then I'd change the currency to $$$!
Hi Shayman1, Yes you are correct, I have this for my own sales, but i have also the same page in us$ and have it at Digiresults, Payspree, Paygear, Plimus and Paydotcom. The reason i havn't got it at Clickbank is my sales limit is $50 until i make a sale - which i havn't done in the 1+year i've been with them. Obviously i have the corrrect payment button on each according to which website it is on. I'm also happy to remove the newsletter form
Hi everyone, New with Clickbank also and with affiliate marketing. I have a quick question, is it possible when you create a sales landing page, to automatically direct the customer the checkout option, instead of re-directing them to another link for payment? if it is, how is this possible? does clickbank have a special html code for this or the vendor? please let me know if someone can help. Thank you!
Im a publisher, may be if you have change your landing pages, I will get my affiliate link to your product..hehe
