Landing Page and Display URL , how to match for Amazon ??

    Hello Guys

I have a question about posting ads with adwords for amazon affilate.

Let's say that I want the Destination URL to be a landing page directly to Amazon Product Page. But adwords force me to put the Display URL to match to the Destination Page, which is should be something like : hxxp://www.amazon.com

With this Display URL, I am sure that there will be other competitor also using the same Display URL, or may using a subfolder too ( such as hxxp://www.amazon.com/xxx ) , I knew that if the Display URL is the same, then Adwords will show the ads from the higher bidder for 1 Page search display.

What I want to ask was, how I can make a match with that and I will be the only who use those Display URL ??

    - I have to use a different subfolder ??
    - I still have to compete others with higher bids ??

    Thank you very much

There is no way around it. You have to use amazons url. Subfolders dont matter

    amazon.com/productX

    And

    amazon.com/productY

are treated the same as they are from the same root url

The only way to not compete with another advertiser is to own your own url. Watch what the other amazon affiliates do and you will get the idea.

    Thank you very much.

All I am thinking right now, were building my own link page that contain amazon product details and once customer click on it. It will bring the clicker to Amazon page check out.

I will start trying on this, but don;t know if it will work or not.

And you has other recommend, that will be appreciate.

    Thank you

Yes, create a simple "doorway page" to get the visitor to amazon product page.

I make about 10k to 20k a year on auto pilot using this method... I can probably make more, but don't have the time and effort to put into it
