I was researching on Search engine cloaking to write an article on the subject, when I came across this site -

    http://www.simplifiedsec.com/

This site promots blackhat SE cloaking techniques (and I thought cloaking had died long ago..)

    From the site:
They forgot to mention a Quick Ban from SEs..lol

    What a loser...

That is - unless you are the NY Times - then Google is okay with it.

    Really?
Then It would be funny to see them defending their site in this thread..lol.
They need to know that its like playing with fire, and its against the SEs Webmaster guidelines.

If he/she is in fact making $22K off of cloaking, I wouldn't call that being a loser.

Agreed though, it should be told on the sales page that you CAN get all your pages banned from SE's using this method.

Cloaking has its white hat aspects too, like cloaking certain pages to only be viewed for certain types of people or groups.

    Dear ohh dear..
No one makes 22k/month using cloaking :)

Its not you CAN get banned, its you WILL get banned, gone were the days when SE were stupid enough not to detect cloaked pages, or sooner than later your fellow webmaster will report your site to SEs.

infact you'll get banned in all moajor SE, before you could make $2.2 let alone 22k...
    Thats User targeting.
When you say pages specially generated for SE spiders...you know what does it mean and where it is gonna lead you :)

Are you kidding me? There's massive amounts of money in cloaking. Absolutely massive.

The mistake you're making is that you're assuming they're using the cloaking techniques on their white hat, unique content sites. Cloaking can generate stupid amounts of cash when BH'ers are doing it en masse, using thousands of domains/subdomains. If you can generate sites faster than they're getting banned, you have a winning formula there.

Voasi knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Mind you, I don't use any of these techniques, I'm all PPC.
