I've been reading through some of these forums for a while, and finally registered for an account.

There have been lots of good suggestions posted here, and there has also been some crackpots to ignore or get your chuckles from. Thanks to those who have posted good info. I've been able to get a few good tips here.

I've had the number 1 site for bikers for quite a long time now, but it never made enough money to feed me. Since my job was outsourced, times have been tough. Employers must think I either have no skills, or I'm overqualified for everything that I'm not under-qualified for.

For more than a year, I've been developing a real fine set of programs that have amazing capabilities. I'm now embedding the results into a web site. It's looking fantastic!

I'm very anxious to start eating more often, and getting out of the house once in a while. It's not good to neglect health care and dental due to poverty, so I'm hoping to increase my earnings. Despite the low unemployment figures, which I believe are concocted, there is extreme poverty in the former middle class of America. The income gap is disgusting!

The new website is getting to the point where I'm ready to do more serious promoting. The problem is that I have no money for advertising, and I am leery about joining some of the well-known advertising programs from search engines.

    A few comments are necessary.
    1. I've been doing web development and SEO work since the last milennium, but there are a few terms used here, that I am not familiar with.
    2. I am so overwhelmed by spammers that all emails from strangers are tossed automatically. All spammers should be tied to a stake next to an ant hill, then flogged and stoned.
    3. I enjoy, and am VERY good at what I do. However, I will entertain serious employment offers. Must be a company which values employees, doesn't mind black leather and hearing a motorcycle with loud pipes in their parking lot, and must pay a living wage. I can put on a professional appearance if a job actually requires interfacing with people in suits...(I'll ride up in a skirt and my leathers..j/k). Have you seen the job postings for people with a set of highly complex, technical skills..and they're offering ten measly bucks per hour?! Forget that! You aren't getting to first base, baby. That is NOT what I call a living wage.
    4. If I have time to help someone, I will. Please realize that until I start making more money, I will not be able to contribute to the forum as often as I could or would like to. I do like to share my knowledge, but, at this point, I really need to take care of business first.
