Ladies and gentleman…. The 2008 PR update has commenced!!!!

My blog is about 4 months old and this morning I realized it went from N/A to a PR3. YAY!

 

My 1 month old blog got PR 2 from 0. It has only 5 visitors a day. My homepage that is few months old which has 100 unique visitors a day got no PR

 

One of my new blogs got pr2 - there is only one first post from october and zero backlinks
One of the inner pages of new blog got pr3 , at the same time home page still pr0
I don't see any logic in Google algoritm
Maybe it's just randomly game? ;-)

 

I don't see any logic either. Personally I think PR is just a number and little more. Maybe Google itself is trying to discredit PR.

 

my 1 month own domain is pr3 so the snapshot was taken very recently

 

If so why Google doesn't cancel it?

 

my one site released in December now has page rank 4 (one month old). from 0 to 4 for one month, very fast!

 

From the looks of things PR was a big bust, it increased spam and little else. Maybe this is the way Google saw to faze it out, by giving it less attention and relevance.

Yes i have notice the change to one (one month old site) from N/A to pr0

EDIT: My best site from pr3 went back to pr4 (where is was) and one of my site gain 1 pr (from pr2 to pr3)... Not bad after all

A pretty fair update

 

how long does google take to complete the process of pr update?
because, since yesterday google is just showing backlinks for my site (41). previously it didnt show any.
no pr yet.

 

I'm not seeing any changes yet for my 4 month old blogger blog. Google toolbar just says "No PageRank information availiable."

 

How often do they check and change your pr. My site is a little over a year old and still has a pr of 3 no change since September of 07.

 

My web had 4years old!
And the back link to our web had changed ,but the PR had no chang yet!

 

It is taking some time. I only saw changes on one of my sites the rest are still waiting to be updated.

 

All website went UP and few of them have 10k google indexed page

so far nothing changed for any of my sites.

 

As far as I can see, nobody got PR4 to PR6-7 or something like that.

A lot of sites with PR0 to PR2-3 but nothing significant.
