Lack of sales

I've been managing a Google Adwords account for a friend for a couple of months now (as he is a complete technophobe), and he was getting 1-3 sales per day via his website as a direct result of this. However, Month 3 has been a bit of a disaster in that he sold a couple of items in the first few days, and there has been no sales since.

I've been looking at keywords every other day, removing ones that aren't popular, and allocating more daily spend to the most popular ones.

I can't see anything obviously wrong in the account, and certainly according to the stats, people are clicking on the selected keywords as I have to top it up with funds regularly.

I have been using 2-3 accounts for this mainly to take advantage of those flyers that fall out of magazines, might that affect things somehow?

If anyone can offer any suggestions I'd be most grateful!

What products does he sell? It might bw just the wrong time now - people on vacation, no school, etc. I have faced that, too, with my business.

    Kitchen Appliances.

A slight drop in sales I can take yes, many people are away on vacation right now, but things seem to have ground to a halt....

But you still get visitors from adwords, don't you? If yes and the amount is about the same, the problem is in the landing page. If not then you have to see what's your quality score is and what your positions are.

Well, that will get the site banned from adwords sooner or later.

OK, I wasn't aware it was against the T&Cs. I've removed all other accounts other than my main one.

How can I tell whether the site has been banned by Google Adwords, it would show up in the account right? And keywords wouldn't still get clicks?
