I was home sick yesterday with the flu and spent a great deal of time watching TV. (something I rarely have time for). In any event, I was watching CNN and more boring coverage than I needed in a lifetime about Katrina a year later. Bush was giving a speach and a CNN anchor notorious for her moronic biased behaivor was talking over Bush's speach. All I could make out initially was "asshole". That is what caught my attention anyway. It was not till I watched it again later on the internet that I realized ding bat left her mike on while going to bathroom. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF6n5alsG8M&mode=related&search= You can see more about it here: http://newsbusters.org/node/7247 What I cannot figure out is why there is not a single mention of this snafu on CNN's web site. No explanation at all. What's up? It's funny as hell if you ask me. Given the boring redundant coverage of Katrina, it made for an interesting day none the less... Enjoy!
Hilarious. *zipper* "My brother, has three kids, but his wife is a CONTROL FREAK." Yagh. I know Thanksgiving is going to be a lot of fun at the Phillips' house.
Who really cares? Nothing wrong with honesty. It's not like she tries to come of different in public.
Her thanksgiving is gonna suck (!!) this year. Talkin shit about her brother's wife and all - calling her a control freak. Hehe.
From a September 2000 political-op rag: Though he's done a decent job of hiding it in this election cycle, Bush has been known to use salty language. At the Republican National Convention in 1988, he was asked by a Hartford Courant reporter about what he and his father talked about when they weren't talking about politics. "Pussy," Bush replied.
That is probably one of the reasons he is so popular with the average hard working American. He is an "average hard working American". Like Truman, he is plain spoken, and sounds like "an average hard working American". I guess that is what pisses people on the left off so much. They would rather have a intellectual that is smarter than everyone else (or at least sounds that way) to keep them at bay, and a few steps behind reality so they can control them. Personally I prefer independent thought and self control. Anyway, I hardly think he has attempted to hide anything. That is evident from several conversations he has had with Blair and others when the "mike was on".
I do agree, many Americans can relate to Bush, the man. It's very important being able to connect with the people. People vote for who they are comfortable with, and who they think is "real".
Right! That's why Bush got 90% of the cheerleader vote. I heard he also did well with coke heads, illiterate homo-phobes, paper shredding CEO's and slackers- he he he!
