I recently acquired this domains for a little over $500 each... Are they worth my investment ? No traffic/revenue whatsoever.
Sorry.. Isn't worth it... I mean KornForum is maybe worth good money but slipknotforum isn't... SlipknotBB would even be better.. but the slipknot thing is too like and people don't like uberlong domains... So it wasn't worth the investment... Try to make an active forum (do good SEO) and maybe after that, you get back your investment, fingers crossed for you.. Greetz
Actually, "forum" is the best suffix for a domain name that will point to a message board, use google keyword tool and type in anything like "tv forum" "tv forums" "tv message board" and you'll see that "forum" is always the most commonly used one. These could be worthwhile if you can get the fan base for these two groups to visit the forum. Try to get the #1 position for the keyword terms of those URLs and keep working at it!! Eventually you can try to leave a comment on Korn or Slipknot's myspace page and hope they're ok with leaving it there
