I have seen a few threads in Digital Point with publishers complaining about Kontera revenue. Kontera is a start up company with a few growing pains. My Kontera revenue seems to go up and down as does all programs. The economy is not so good, so all programs seem to be down a bit. As the company grows, you most likely can expect much better revenue from Kontera. I have been experimenting with Kontera and Chitika Linx. Chitika does seem to pay a notch better, but I have to see if and when I get paid from Chitika. Chitika shows your "unaudited earnings" and I have heard from other Chitika Linx publishers that the "audited earnings" are substantially lower. At first glance it appears that Chitika pays better, but you need to wait and see your audited revenue before making a judgment. Also, Kontera has better site ad relevance, and you have the ability to adjust the Kontera ad link color to match your page. Aside from a tax form issue and a couple of small delays, Kontera has paid me for every month since starting the program last year. And they do seem to genuinely care about the publishers, unlike almost all of the other programs. They also have made great strides since just a few months ago, such as adding the ability to change payment method directly on your account page, as well as adding direct EFT to your checking account. Here is a poll about which program supplements Adsense the best, and Kontera is the winner hands down so far...... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=6572031#post6572031 In summation, based on customer support and the fact that you will definitely receive payment, I say Kontera is a winner and will most likely choose them as my permanent inline text ad program. Also, Kontera just started a publisher referral program, however I am not posting a link because I didn't post this to make money, just to report my findings. Here is a link to what Randy Brown says about the Kontera vs Chitika issue: http://success.grownupgeek.com/index.php/2008/03/15/choosing-between-kontera-and-chitika/ Note About Amazon Text Links: Make sure not to use Amazon text links on the same page as Kontera. I accidentally had a website that I used Amazon text links on the same page as Kontera. Although Amazon text links are somewhat different in the sense that nothing happens when you hover over the highlighted text, it is still considered inline text ads, which is against the Kontera TOS.
I believe image ads work best... And soon google might be releasing this kind of ads... they always find a way to eat up the competition.
Yeah! i wonder Kontera will give more earnings online for my paypal it's best after Adsense started yesterday
