i notice there is an improvement with kontera. now it includes a search engine within its ads. i guess they deserve a 2nd look at
I got problem with Kontera as well...We also haven't received payment for January yet Before I got mail almost 3 times a week from the Director and my accounting manager trying to convince us to put Kontera tags on every page of my site (we got quite big site with more than 120,000 daily page impressions) and then when we only limit it to a certain pages they just chose to be silent on payment matter. Now it is already 17/3 but we still haven't received January payment yet. I have been sending them heaps of mail and calls but all my calls sent into voice box of Mike, the director and they no long replied to my emails. I don't know what it happening, this is very annoying. At least we are explained what's happening.
Kontera now offers payment by PayPal! Take a look: http://kb.kontera.com/questions/66/PayPal+for+Kontera+Publisher+Payments
Well, I was never told that I had to send in a tax form to receive payment for my January 2008 earnings. I never had to send one last year when I signed up. I had major difficulties receiving responses to my payment inquiries regarding my first payment for Nov 2008 and Dec 2008 earnings. I finally received a check that was forwarded from my old address. After numerous emails, I was finally sent an email from Joshua Messina in Kontera accounting, informing me that I had to send in this tax form. I was told this well after I was expecting to be paid at the beginning of this month. If I had not emailed Kontera numerous times asking why I haven't been paid, I wonder if I EVER would have been informed about having to send in this tax form. Last week, he told me I would be issued payment for January 2008 earnings to my PayPal account TODAY Monday March 17th. But I received NO payment from Kontera into my PayPal account. My emails go unanswered, as do the majority of my emails. When us publishers are expecting payment within a certain time frame, and we do not get paid, it can be devastating financially. I have been extremely dissatisfied with Kontera from the start, not just with support and payment issues, but also with the performance of the network. Extremely low payout compared to the other similar networks.
Hello again, There are two types of tags that can be utilized in order to limit the placement of ContentLink ads in your site: Zone tags or Filter tags. The tags are easy to implement- click for a step by step guide on Zone tags or Filter tags. Regarding ad relevancy, we are constantly working to improve relevancy between the served ads and the content in which they're featured. However, on rare occasions the advertisers' bidding process, may regretfully result in ads like those you've described. If you'll email me your site's information I'll gladly have our optimization team review it and make some changes in ContentLink's settings to improve ad relevancy and improve your revenue potential. Please contact me either here or at for additional help and information. Thanks, Mika
