I've yet to see anyone get paid from them yet, but I'm still going to wait it out to see what happens. I'm at about $70 now.

This is certainly not a good sign. Maybe anyone from Kontera should clarify this. This is definitely not a good exposure for them.

hmmm in my experience they do pay on time (first week of every month) consistently via Paypal.

adbrite's similar in-line ads works much better (higher yield) imo.

I have been using Kontera to supplement my Adsense for about 6 months, and I have been paid every single month. I don't know if you all know this, but you must go to the tax information section on Kontera and print out the W9 tax form and fax or mail it in. Then you will get paid.

Kontrea owes me a few thousand dollars
They say the reason I am not getting paid is because i decide to not send Them traffic anymore and its part of there terms and conditions if you do not Give them notice and just stop sending traffic they will NOT pay you
Anybody ever hear of that .So i guess if you stop sending them traffic you have write a breakup letter Sound like high school to me

Kontera is the worst choise for a publisher. Let me tell you why. I've open an account at Kontera a year ago. From what I've seen and what it seems to me to be logical is that when you open an account you own it. That's what I've thought. After a while I've selled the site on wich I had the Kontera ads. So, I've taken the Kontera tag and put him on another site of mine. After a while when I've looked into my Kontera account all my payments details was modified with the ones corresponding to the new owner. I've sent a mail to Kontera and tell them, and they respond to me that they have a specific tag for every site, but they didn't answer me how is possible to change some details in someone's account without that person to know that. So, they gaved MY account to the new owner and all my money made with my new site they go also to the new owner. KONTERA is a BIG CHEATER. Don't use Kontera!!
Other reasons not to use Kontera : their ads doesn't show , their code will cause a heavier load of your site, the earnings = a joke, they are 75% of the time in maintenance, thech ( or other king of support ) sleeps. All that => Kontera = Amateurs

    Hello everyone,

As a response to what is said above, there are a few points I'd like to mention.
Firstly, it is absolutely necessary to notify us once a publisher decides to sell his/her site. This is needed in order for us to make the required adjustments in advance.
A site's tag is unique for the purpose of tracking. As was in the instance above, the site was sold while both publishers continued to use the same tag for months- making it impossible for us to distinguish traffic source over time. Secondly, a tag is unique per site, not publisher. We manually review each and every website that applies to the Kontera network to assure it meets our standards (no gambling, porn, etc.). For this reason, we need to be contacted by the publisher for any additional site. You cannot just take the tag and place it on any site.
There are a few basic agreements which are included in the Terms & Conditions of most ad networks, made to protect the interests of both publisher and network. One of these states that publisher must notify the ad network 30 days before terminating the agreement. This is nothing unusual in contracts.

mika.kontera i am agree with you but i think you have to tell me that don't you think that Kontera ads make web pages upload slowly . I am not against it but yes when i was using kontera on my blog , my blog was taking too much time to upload and when i have removed it from my blog it is uploading with a good speed .

On more question , do you work with kontera , i will post review about these point you have cleared out here so others can take benefit from it too .

So what your saying then is that every publisher that you have if they start sending traffic they cant stop unless they give you 30 day notice?
Is everyone that is sending traffic aware of that?
"Made to protect the interests of both publisher and network"
How does that protect the publisher?

So, if I sell my site the new owner will receive all the money from that site ? Is that normal ? And do you think is normal that one day I wake up with all the payment details modified without a notice ?
