Some people make good money with Kontera.
I may go back to them and see if they can do better on some of my sites than adsense is doing.
For sure, you can use them on your site, just not on same page as adsense.

Thanks for reminding me about them!

    Hey AboutItWorld,

I'm pretty sure it is (against the AdSense TOS, that is) - I don't beleive Google will allow you to display any type of advertising from a competitor on a page that displays AdSense.

I have been researching this in the last 24 hours and the rules appear to be as follows

    1. You cannot display other contextual ads on the same PAGE as Adsense ads.

    2. If you are opted ino the "Onsite Advertiser" scheme (see your accounts section in your control panel) - you cannot put other ads on the SITE let alone the same page.

    3. (Some) Premium advertisers are exempt from this and are allowed to display Google and (for example) Yahoo ads on the same page. - Money talks.

i was looking at this too and i emailed them to be 100% sure. either way it doesn't matter but if i could display it on the same pages it would be great. but that last line

this makes it seem like kontera type ads are ok. unless the limited text links refers to affiliate links.

    No.

Kontera is contextual so unless there is an option to tun off contextual ads and receive untragetted ones from Kontera then it can't be done.
