I am using kompozer as my website editing software but the website actually does not give me enough specific information to understand how to edit my website, Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get some concise info to help me with this?
I have never heard of this software so if you need a WYSIWYG editor I would recommend you try WebDwarf that is also free software, www.virtualmechanics.com/products/dwarf
Kompozer is great free software for editing web pages but if you need to create sites you must really go for Dream Weaver yes i know its costly but it worth that price if you really want to create good web site or just get trial version if you just want to create 1-2 sites. Thanks
It is even better hard coding your website when you have the knowledge because Dreamweaver, the same as Frontpage, are applications adding tons of useless junk to your final code, such as font size color and family to images, which is ridiculous as an image could not display such characteristics. The more junk your page has, the more time to get it loaded.
I do not want to actually create sites right now. I just want to use a template to promote a service that I offer. In other words when people go to my site, I just want it there to provide information as to what I do, how it is done, who to contact, etc. Is Kompozer good enough for this?
