Sound is a definite no. Users absolutely hate sound when visiting a website. Though there are very few people who probably enjoy it, which I am assuming you are one of them. But what if you came to lets say DP on a daily basis, and everytime you come to the forum, a song is constantly playing? That would definately start to annoy you. Just some type of small sound when you click a button or something might be ok, but a lot of people listen to music while browsing the net, and most don't have sound turned on at all, so it wouldn't be worth the trouble. Thanks for your comment though.
The overall layout and design is nice, the color scheme, the theme, and the page layout is excellent, the site looks professional.
NICE! I'm not a fan of red and gray, but the khaki offsets it. So it looks good. What I really like is that it doesn't look like a cookie cutter template. It looks original and definitely different. Considering yours is a professional web design company, that's a VERY good thing! I give you a 9 out of 10. 9, only because of the red/gray... ~cj
though im not a big fan of dark colored designs, I really loved the top menu, that metallic effect is neat, my only advise is the left boxes in the contact etc.. i guess you used too much "inner glow", and i think it wasnt necesary, or maybe if you use it in a more conservative manner, or to say change its blending mode to see what happens or lower its opacity.... in the latest projects i think it would look nice a drop shadow to make them pop out... in the image of the botton it would be better to use inner shadow than outer.. well all of this makes sense if you are using photoshop... if not just ignore this... just my 2 cents. overall this is a neat site.
Hey thanks for all the comments. I steered clear form using a shadow on the latest projects to avoid making them pop out. There are enough things that pop out on this website (nav bar left box, main box, etc.), so I didn't want to overdue that part. As for the left boxes, (contact, etc.) that was an inner shadow, not an inner glow. When I made the template in photoshop, I had actually used a little different color for those boxes, and it looked much better. But when I coded it I changed it for some reason, and never changed it back. But I was tring to get the effect that the box dipped down inside the left content box, so I left it at that and thought the effect still looked pretty good. Thanks for all your comments!
I Really like this website. I looked at all of your work and they are pretty good As for the website it looks amazing. Almost Perfect. The ONLY thing I would change would be the nav bar and make it more attractive when you hover/click and are on a certain page. Other than that the site looks amazing
That's pretty neat! Well done I can suggest something to add a bit more dynamics to the site; the top navigation bar where you have the "Home, Services, Designs.." tabs - it would be cool if you can make them animate in some where, once we hover our mouse over it. Nothing too exciting, but perhaps change size or color or shift places..something
