It's a good tool and it is quite well known.

The thing is - it is not a page rank prediction tool. It tells you how "strong" your page is SEO wise. One of the factors it takes into account is page rank.

 

I had used this tool earlier,
There i got pr 1 for my new SEO site. and in just 2 months it has PR 1.
Now, i have check again and it shows me that PR will become 2.
If my site got PR 2 in next update than it's surely a PR prediction tool.
Because right now for that website i am not going to do SEO any more.
Let c whether it's happens or not.

SEOMoz has been around for quite some time and it's actually a neat tool. The problem is that it went from unlimited hits per day to only a couple hits (searches) per day for non-paying members. I guess they have to make their money though.

My best site is only a PS 5.5 though. One thing I never knew about their tool... is 5.5 a good number or is it just truly average? :\

Page Rank = 4

Is this just another page rank indicator?

 

Seems like it since my PR5 site is PS5.5 and PR4 site is PS4.5. I think tools like this are more about entertainment value than anything. Though I do like how it pings things like DMOZ, Wiki, etc and gives the link counts back. Kinda useful.

 

my PR 4 site shows a PS of 3.5? Something wrong here. I used the SEOMOZ tool right before my page even got a pagerank of 4 and it showed up as a strength of 1...seems weird.

 

Nice tool but didn't believe on PR prediction. PR is not predictable now days

 

My current blog is PR 0.

The tool showed Page Strength: 2.5 / 10

Well, at least it suceeded in making me feel better!
