Know of a registrar cheaper than GoDaddy?

GoDaddy wants to charge me $1,140.91 for renewing 79 domain names with different TLDs. They charge $10/ea. for privacy renewals.

I've compared to namecheap.com and godaddy is about the same (some 1 dollar less, others 1 dollar more = evens out).

    QTY TLD Unit price SUBTOTAL
    6 .com $7.99 $49.02
    18 .us $7.99 $143.82
    25 .cc $19.99 $499.75
    8 .me $18.99 $151.92
    5 .cc $19.99 $99.95
    1 .biz $7.99 $8.17

    1 .net $6.99 $7.17
    2 .us $7.99 $15.98
    1 .com $7.99 $8.17
    4 .ws $12.99 $51.96
    4 .org $7.99 $32.68
    2 .co $27.99 $55.98
    1 .info $8.99 $9.17
    1 .net $6.99 $7.17
    79 TOTAL $1,140.91

Surely there has got to be a cheaper place, because I have another 200 domains to renew soon and godaddy renewals are about double of what they charged initially. And it would have to accept bulk renewals and hassle free xfer.

    Anyone recommend a cheap registrar?

A quality hosting provider can give you a better return, now whether it is cheap or high in prices, money does not matter I think...

Given what we all pay for domain names - after reselling them, there is not much room to move.

A G sounds pretty damned good to me. I'd likely not be much more south of that. I think you could save a 100-200 depending on another registrar, or simply looking for GD promo/coupon codes.

Typically you're looking at anywhere from $950 - $2500 depending on the registrar for that many domains.
