the design is a bit lame..

Just use one with colors,but don't make it so bright it's hard on the eyes.

You are using one of the default templates the blog would look much better
if you got a more unique template, and I think you should add more graphics
to the page.

 

The contents are informative and everything could be better if you can try out custom templates. It will make your blog look unique
