Looks nice, clean and the template is simple. I suggest adding some sort of archive so your users can search through properly. I found it a bit cluttered just scrolling down and seeing a column of blog posts. Ad placements are looking good throughout, especially the ads in the middle of the posts. Nice touch. Apart from that, it looks nice. Keep it up!
I’d maybe bump the “social corner†section down on the right hand column in favor of moving up your categories list. As is, the above the fold at a glance look is very slim like there really isn’t very much content. Either move the categories section up or add a navigation bar up top under your header. Also – just my opinion here – but your blog name “Social Critics†& your mellow calm site theme doesn’t really go together. I’d recommend a bolder color scheme & header to go along w/your site content.
