I have a site which is of page rank three. I am doing only off page work now. What is the best way to get more back link through submission process.? How much we need to submit for one day. I am doing article submission, social bookmarking, directory submission, one way links for that site. Is the bulk submission process leads to spam or not?

    Thanks in advance.

As long as you did not over do it, and you are following the rules of SEO
that is just fine. If you are already doing the off page and you think the
traffic you generate from that technique is not enough, you now focus
on on page, and there are still available technique for you to use.
You can try the link trades, blog commenting, participating in different
    forums and answers community.

I must say that an excessive linking may be considered spamming by Search engines. I would suggest you to make authentic links. Linking to free submission directories and sites do not help to build authority for your site. You could start with blogging. The more relevant content you would give viewers to read, more you would go popular. :)

Performing multiple tasks with moderate number of submissions can give effective results. I think directory submission can be limited to a maximum of 30 directories per day for a site. Many submissions in one day can lead to spam. Also the search engines consider sites that are gaining links rapidly as a source of spam.
