Hi im kinda new to clickbank, and have some questions and if anyone could share some tips it would be appreciated. I plan on pretty much using PPC with my affiliate hoplink, but some people said that it wont use my hoplink and will go directly to the publishers link on adwords when they click? Can someone explain this to me? And like i said any tips are appreciated.
Hi, Yasin1, You can get some nice little tips for beginners from this free affiliate marketing basics course. I don't know what you mean by "it wont use my hoplink and will go directly to the publishers link on adwords when they click?" If you input your hoplink as the destination URL and the product's homepage URL as the display URL, everything'll be fine: when someone clicks on your ad, they'll be directed to the merchant via your hoplink. This is called direct linking or the Google Cash Method. The problem is, only one person can use a specific display URL, so if someone's already using it, your ads won't display (unless you secure a higher quality score). It is best that you construct a landing page upon which you review the product. This way, you can use your own display URL and thus avoid competing for the merchant's URL. See the course specified above for guidance.
Make a landing page with a couple of the programs on it for clickbank. Some software on some peoples computers redirects people to another affiliates url. This is a problem that has been going on a long time.
Follow the guidelines presented in the following thread when constructing landing pages: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=360032 Although somewhat advanced, this is the kind of thing you should be aiming for. Of course, you could simply settle for a single-paged lander, but Google will probably slap you.
