Social Media. Is it just a fad...???
    by Abel Polo

So is Social Media just a fad we are going through...

...or is it the biggest shift since the Industrial Revolution?

    What do you think?

    Let me tell you this.

Facebook now has more weekly traffic than Google. FACT.

1 in 8 couples married last year - met via Social Media on the web. FACT.

It took Radio 38 years to reach 50 million users.

TV did it in 13 years.

    The Internet 4 years.

    Ipod 3 years.

Facebook...added over 200 million users...in less than a year. FACT.

Not only is Social Media not a fad...

...it is also changing fundamentally how we communicate with one another.

    Take a look at this:

@ablepolo... Thanks for sharing that video. Very entertaining and informative.

I wasn't expecting a book to be sold to be at the end of the video though. Good advertising.

Thanks mcbrett, we all make mistakes and if we are smart, we learn from them. I appreciate your honest comment.

Really puts things in perspective. Our world changes so fast. New technologies spread so quickly. I can't help but think of the technological singularity.
