I think some of the animosity being directed towards you is due to the blowup of a really popular member offering SEO services swindling a lot of DP members out of their money. Add to the fact that you've got 0 iTrader and you're giving "guaranteed" results for keywords, and people will turn a 2nd eye at you.

This includes me as well -- I'm interested in having SEO work done for my site, but I would rather wait to hear testimonials from customers first before giving up some of my hard earned cash. I'm not doubting your integrity, but right now everyone needs to be safe rather than sorry.

 

Totally understandable - unfortunately, I can't afford to do sites for free, then wait to be paid in 3-4 months. I've done what I can on my end to try to show that we're legitimate. There is some risk on my part as well, trusting a complete stranger to fulfill their end of the agreement once we get the site into the top ten. Why not offer to use some kind of escrow service then? We all know that Paypal will never refund for services, intangible goods, or digital services. However, you could open an account on Scriptlance, and refer people from here on DP to over there on Scriptlance and use their escrow service in the meantime. In this manner, the only one who can complete the transaction is the buyer, and the only one who can cancel the project is you, the seller.

On Scriptlance, there is the ability to leave feedback. Therefore, you can link to your feedback page in the footer of your DP forum signature.

Your money will be there, in escrow, until the job is done. But once it's there, the buyer cannot cancel the project until you deliver what you guarantee to deliver.

Thanks for the advice Nite - I will check into that for the next promotion. While there has been a fair share of doubters (which I totally understand with all the scammers out there), we have gotten a pretty good response to this offer so far.

Why did anyone give money to a complete newbie? His posts may have appeared genuine but with no history or credibility on this site people sent home money. crazy!

Do you have sites you have done and proper referals we can call to verify? IM not going to get burnt again without checking properly all references and all the jobs you have done with each example their contact names so we can verify that y ou have indeed done it yourself.

Once this can be provided then Im willing to take a look at it.
