It's part of this business unfortunately & you will see a lot of your articles, especially the one's which have got to page 1 on google, being spun by others with a couple of tweeks in the wording. They are also out for a piece of the same pie ! Mark
precious007, How many article directories do you submit each article to? And where (urls)? Do you use an article distribution service or an article submitter software? If you use article distrbution service, which is the service? Like iSnare, SubmitYourArticle.com, etc. If you use article submitter software, which is the software (url)?
I mostly submit them manually. Why pay when you can do it all by yourself? I mean it doesn't even take all that much. Here's where I submit my articles to: These 3 are generating the most traffic and they rank well in the search engines as well. http://www.ezinearticles.com/ http://www.articlesbase.com/ http://www.goarticles.com/ http://www.selfgrowth.com/ http://www.hubpages.com/ http://www.buzzle.com/ http://www.prlog.com/ http://www.articledashboard.com/ http://www.buzzle.com/ http:///www.articlealley.com/ http://www.articlesnatch.com/ http://www.helium.com/ http://www.ideamarketers.com/ http://www.amazines.com/ http://www.articlerich.com/ http://www.articlecity.com/ http://www.searchwarp.com/ http://www.isnare.com/ http://www.a1articles.com/ http://www.articlecube.com/
Good thread Precious, been reading some of your tips and was amazed at the things I have not been doing!! I've decided to get off my butt and write at least three a day then spin them and post them to other article directories using SE Nuke, been booking my articles too!!
Really good info on this thead. And yes, it does work. However, one other good point. Don't just publish trash; to actually make money, your articles need to get read and clicked thru. That's why you should continually test different headlines and resource boxes. If I see a CTR of 29% on one resource box, and only 6% on another in a related article, I switch the resource box. Juts because your article is published, doesn't mean you cannot go in and edit it. And approval times for an edit are dramatically lower than a new article (like hours) on Ezine... So findout what is converting for you, and then bang it like drum...
Thanks for this OP, a lot of great advice here. EDIT: I'm also wondering, it seems as though ezinearticles doesn't allow links at all anymore? Any info on this?
OP, in your personal experience, how long does each article last on average before no longer creating income? Like to say I turn out 100 articles this week, and 100 next week, will I have 200 effective articles going into week 3 or only 100?
it solely depends on your ability to create backlinks for your articles and the competition. some of my articles remain just for 2-3 weeks in top ten without promotion . i just get 10-25 HQ backlinks to get them back in top ten.
Hi very good tips; I' m new in affiliate marketing. I will apply your method, hoping to succeed. Succeed in the affiliation is not as simple as I thought, I've often said it was easy. Anyway we should not lose hope, just have to persist. Best Regard
I like your tips very much because I have been doing so far is writing articles, although not that much compared to your total articles but I earned few sales from article marketing. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing some good tips
This is a real infomative thread. I write most of my articles myself (I don't have thousands online either) but I do spend time researching each one to write quality ones. It is so time consuming. I go to the library and get out books on my niche and do my research that way. I can say one thing since I have started affiliate marketing. I make money (not enough to quit my day job yet) but I have learned alot of valuable information on different subjects just from research. Heck, I probably know every cure for hemorrhoids LOL
Excellent tips on article marketing. Expanding on that, the article should be informative rather than promotional. The promotion is done in your resource box (signature file) In my experience, the best article directories do not allow affiliate links anywhere in the article and many do not allow affiliate links in the resource box. The resource box link often needs to be to a main site, which means, no affiliate links. That's why I'm debating right now regarding putting up yet another splash page for my clickbank product.
