Kids watch to much TV?

I think this would be a cool little gadget. Mostly for Novelty use, but still pretty cool.

    Check it out:
    TV-B-Gone

I can just think of some poor teacher trying to get the TV to stop turning off for a presentation at a school...

Your seat in a restraunt too close to the bar & televisions?
Walking through a Best Buy, Circuit City, or other electronics store?
    Husband watching to much sports?
    Wife watching boring talk shows?

It'd probably get old pretty quick... but hey it was good for a few laughs.

Back in the day I used a universal remote to drive the teachers crazy. Hours of entertainment at a fration of the price ;)

    I just noticed this

I kind of think someone will notice this since it has to be pointed directly at the TV for a minute and a half. They give two scenarios which can only end in disaster:

Sports Bar - Get beat up or stabbed (If Shawn is there)
Airport - Pointing a device for long periods of time will probably result in a cavity search

90% of TVs shut off in 17 seconds or less... the other 10% can take up to 69 seconds.

I think a good universal remote would be good as well, but you have to program them first right?
