Kidman is Hollywood's best-paid female

Hollywood has a new queen, as actress Nicole Kidman knocked peer Julia Roberts off the top of a list of the industry's highest-paid actresses.

In the Hollywood Reporter's fifth annual list, announced Wednesday, the U.S.-born, Australia-raised Kidman came in first for 2006, earning as much as $17 million US per film

Yeah, it is sad how much these celebrities are paid. They contribute almost nothing to society in the long run, and they are paid $17 million per film, while the most highest paid doctors or engineers can only hope to probably pull down $1 million per year.

Then people wander why celebrities tend to be unhappy with various addictions. I'm not a communist/socialist, but they make too much money for very little effort. I think they should be paid handsomely, but $17 million per film is ridiculous.

 

If I would make that much I would Realy help poor people, and children.
