Wow, that's kinda weird. I don't think stumble upon can be held liable, because they can claim "safe harbor." It's not like they purposely knew that it was a kiddy porn site and decided to show it to you anyway...

But yeah, I agree with Parakeet, it's gross.

I am not sure if this is up to date or not... but from what I understand since US Laws do not exceed the borders of the United States, this how it works:

If you are a resident of the United States and view kiddy porn of any kind, then is an illegal act, even if the kiddy porn did not originate from the United States.

Oddly enough, some countries do not have laws in place that make this illegal. I believe either Japan or China is one of those countries. I may be wrong about that though... but this is just me speculating on what I have gathered from visiting various sites like MP3 download sites and Online Gambiling sites. I have a Texas holdem addiction. :D

Even though something is legal elsehwere in the world, if you perform that act in the United States, then you are under the laws of the United States. Gambling is another good example. Some sites are not legal to be accessed by residents in some states due to some state laws regarding online gambling, which can include anything from horse races to online poker.

So if these sites in question are part of stumbles' database, then first and foremost I would report it to stumble. I would think they would separate different country's databases. Either way I highly doubt this is a site they would want in their database. I am assuming they are mostly US Based operations anyway, making the kiddy porn entirely illegal for them to store in any database. After you report it to stumble, then also report it to the FBI. Since they have a federal jurisdiction they would be better equipped to handle a case like this, because stumble is located in some other location that is not in the locality you reside in.

They would handle it from there. After this you have done your part... and kudos for that.

Moving forward if it became an international issue, I am sure the FBI could work somehow with InterPol (not sure what countries they have jurisdiction in).

Wow, that's just sick. First of all, it's sick in the first place. Secondly, it's sick for someone to stumble it. Sick all around. =/
