    Hi Simon

I just got an email from an old biking buddy from my OE. She has her sights set on Sumner as a good place to emigrate to. Can you recommend any good IT recruitment agencies down your way?

Check out the hellpoll too ;)

Sumner is good......it's a beach with hills behind, anywhere along the hills is a good place to live....views from the ocean, over the city, over the Canterbury plains to the Alps. Absolutely magnificent, especially in winter when they are covered in snow.

    HI Simon,

Welcome to DP. I was visiting Christchurch in April and really loved it. Ever eaten at Honey Pot Cafe? They had the best breakfast plates....Too bad they're so darn far away from San Francisco!

    Hey Dreamshop,

I haven't been their for breakfast but we had our work Christmass party there.

Pizza is great, especially the dessert pizza, sounds strange I know but strawberry and chocolate on pizza is actually quite good.

    fo' real?

Although I'm living in a country that thinks bacon/cheese/egg is nice on a traditional pancake (thats meant to have maple syrup, lemon & sugar on)

The world has gone nuts. People need to stop mixing sweet & savory together.

& Peanut butter & jelly should be banned. *Dear Mr. Bush....*

    ehh, welcome.

Thanks Sarahk...it sums up my relationship with Google quite succinctly  .

My Daughter has arrived home after a week in CHCH, she had a ball...went skiing at Mt Hutt.....saw some whales at Kaikoura....spent a night out partying with three of the guys from the British Lions Rugby team, met them at the Holy Grail, there are no Shane Warne type tales to tell, she said they acted like perfect gentlemen.....well thats what she tells me ;) ....I thought one of them looked a little off his game against Southland though  .
