Keywords

For one of my keywordes on msn I rank number 3 and get about 100 hits per day. If I ignor this keyword for about a month is it likely that its going to drop? Or do I have to babysit it?

 

I think that's one of those hard to answer questions..

If the keyword is not very competitive, and you do not remove the content and links that got it in that position in the first place, then I doubt you need to babysit it.

If it is a competitive phrase or you plan on removing what got it there - then yes, it's going to fall.

Only time will tell for sure.

 

It's not likely to drop, unless you got there un-naturally (like buying links that get removed).

 

I build a friend a site last month who wanted to target the keyword phrase

( illegal adoptions ) We are listed #1 and #2 seems to me nobody cares about injustice or are just unaware of it...
I told her we need to target keyword phrase ( paris hilton )

if she wants hits

 

You pretty much have to babysit it.
