Keywords without 'ringtone', any examples?

    Hello,

I noticed many big affiliates doing ringtone offers said they bidded keywords without 'ringtone'.

So anyone could give some examples of those keywords?
    They are all longtail keywords?

    Thanks!

LOL... you don't need a boatload of cash to go that route kiddo. Try testing those keywords without 'ringtones' in them in Google content.

MILLION DOLLAR TIP: Also, think to yourself, 'If I was looking to buy ringtones online... what kind of keyword phrase would I put in the search engine to find those ringtones"....

    Thank you coolnikin and webgenesis.

Actually, I made this thread after I readed your informative post webgenesis.

I made a 6 page note from your post, it's one of the best out there, very helpful.

Thank you all guys here to help.

Just finished my homework of analysis and tracking, and start testing keywords.

Well that's great... remember me when you're rich :). But seriously, just like you said up top, that's the way to do it... take lot's of notes, read them over and over again, and test.

And remember, don't try and copy anyone's method verbatim (not saying that you specifically are... but this is for anyone else reading this thread). Add your own flavor into it. I think alot of people mess up trying to 110% copy what somebody else did... and that probably won't work.

Try marketing to the Myspace crowd. Myspace keywords are cheap, and that can probably help you.

myspace is garbage, but the demographics is something to look at.

that's what I've been testing in the CN right now.

I think if you were looking to buy ringtones online you'd use the keyword "free". Think about it.:D

Yes you could bid on free related keywords but its against TOS to use Free anywhere in your adcopy or page. Some offers might not even let you bid on those terms at all. Make sure you check with your AM.
