Hi Today I was looking at a site and noticed that it has the keywords pasted in many other tags such as the title tag for links (.e.g word fro word from the content of meta keywords) The site is made by what I presume is a professional web design company. But surely this isn't good practice? Just curious!
Hello sd2010. If you're asking this question to learn whether you should replicate the process, my opinion is no. Repeating keywords in obscure places will have minimal or no impact on any major search engine. More important is that you have specific, relevant, and (if necessary) low competition keyphrases in the primary areas, then seek to build external reputation (backlinks). Secondary keywords, however, are a different matter. There can be a benefit to using these other spaces for phrases which have not found another place.
