I've heard That having certain keywords like "ALL" and " DIRECT" and "hyphens" in domain names don't hurt the SEO and Specially Rankings through search engines...basically search engines tend to ignore them... First of all I want to now if that's true? Secondly if anyone knows more of these keywords...?
It doesn't hurt ranking, but if you can get an exact match domain it is better, for sure, if not only for the ease of telling people about your site and not looking "spammy". If I'm selling blue widgets, I would rather have bluewidgets.com instead of blue-widgets.com. However, I would rather have blue-wedgits.com than something totally unrelated like bluewedgy.com
This might sound dumb but for lets say " Blue widgets", given blue-widgets.com is unavailable do you prefer blue-widgets.NET to all-bluewidgets.COM ? I'm trying to build a network and for popular keywords with high CPC, ofcourse most of the exact domains are already taken. but having a lot of unique articles still persuades me...
