    Hi friends,

I need good English speakers help.

I am not a native English speaker. My target customers are English speakers.

When selecting keywords, I have a problem.
Supposed that my products are bikes, supposed that I am a bikes manufacturer. (Actually I am a handbag manufacturer :p)

I am not clear what word / words native English speakers will use when you search for bikes and bikes manufacturers via Google. Do you employ singular noun or plural noun?

Do you use "bike" as keyword to search via Google for bikes, or do you use "bikes" as keyword to search for bikes?

When you search via Google for a bikes manufacturer, what word / words do you use?
"bike manufacturer"? "bike manufacturers"? "bikes manufacturer"? or "bikes manufacturers"?

    Thanks in advance for helping!

in my opinion, bikes manufacturers, because

    search in google; bike manufacturer
showed your site's keyword bikes manufacturers

    search in google; bikes manufacturer
showed your site' keyword bikes manufacturers

    search in google; bikes manufacturers
showed your site' keyword bikes manufacturers
    ...

red word is very important for search.

but if you choose bike manufacturer,

    search in google; bike manufacturer
showed your site's keyword bike manufacturer
    It's very good but,
    search in google; bikes manufacturers
showed your site's keyword bike manufacturer (not red, it's nothing for bikes manufacturers)

Thank Kaiser_Dealxa and tezehe for your helping.

I agree with you that if I choose "bikes manufacturers" as keywords my site will be searched out when potential customers search "bike manufacturer", "bikes manufacturer", "bike manufacturers" and "bikes manufacturers" via Google.

But the SERPs will be different if my potential customers use different keywords to search for bike manufacturers. right?

I tested and found SERPs were different for different keywords.

That's why I wanna know what words native English speakers will employ when you search for a bikes manufacturer.

If native English speakers usually type "bikes manufacturer" in google to search for bike manufacturers, I will make my site "bikes manufacturer" oriented.
If native English speakers usually type "bike manufacturer" in google to search for bike manufacturers, I will make my site "bike manufacturer" oriented.

    Any suggestion?

err.. still can't understand what Kaiser_Dealxa explained.
Can you give me the easy eloboration to make me understand this?

That's means we must use the plural to get into the google's list?

very good choosing, because bicycle manufacturer is very popular in google :)

    look;
    http://www.google.com/trends?q=bike+manufacturer
    http://www.google.com/trends?q=bike+manufacturers
    http://www.google.com/trends?q=bikes+manufacturers

we should use the plural in order to do more hit. the plural is extensive search.
