Keywords searched in past

    Bear with me if you think this is a stupid question.
    Is there any tool available (preferably free :) ) to find out how many time a particular keyword searched in past.

    Suppose I want to know how many time keywords “Debt problem” was searched in December 2005.

    keyworddiscovery.com can do this somewhat. but you have to pay
