I’ve a Hospital website I need to fix keywords for some of the pages.. For Example: We have 2 sections.. like “Our Hospitals†and “departments†Under Departments: we have many pages like - Cardiology Dept Neurology Dept Eye care Dept etc and Under Our Hospitals We have 5 pages like ABC Hospital Houston ADC Hospital Austin DAB Hospital Newyork city etc Regarding Dept I’ve fixed the keywords depending on the category like for Cardiac dept…heart care hospital, cardiac surgery etc depending on the keyword research. But I’m facing problem in fixing the keywords for Our Hospital pages. Though I’ve a territory option to add to but all the hospitals have various center of excellence. Like ABC Hospital Houston specialization in EYE care, Cardiology, Neurology etc Please give me some suggestions… Thanks in advance
My suggestion is to keep the usuability of the site in tact, don't change internal anchor text just for SEO. Rankings can be achieved without doing internal anchor text, I rarely do it and still rank. More important is external link building. Do what you can on onsite optimisation, but don't go ott. If you're still concerned, perhaps you can use optimised anchor texts in the sitemap only. That way they're less likely to be seen by users of the site.
