Yes you can but it will look like spam if you using britney spears word again and again better you use britney spears photos | wallpaper so it can give you a good look as well as give some sapce to add some more keyword

I take it you mean for your keywords meta tag?

    If so then: keyword,keyword,keyword,keyword

If you mean for title of a page then: Repeating the main keywords once is ok but anymore and you spamming.

If you mean for description then: Repeating main keywords max of 3 is ok.

If you mean just genral text in your page then just write good content and if its relevat then it will have the keywords in it anyways.

    Hi,

Using "britey spears" in every keyphrase will not be a problem or it will not be considered as a spam unless each and every keyphrase is different.
Eg : photos of britney spears, britey spears photo, britney spears photo shoot etc ... can be used.

As far as I know keyword tags are considered ineffective and have no importance on Google.

You can use different keyword suggestions tools.

Target your keywords which has plenty of searches per month and competitive keywords.

The latter works for me :) You can also try to do a research on your competitors and see how they do it.

i read somewhere to use keywords with least searches and less competitive keywords for a new site... so should i use keywords with plenty of searches for a new site?

See you have to make a overall plan and take care of their density too. Like using the most general keywords on your home page and then specific keywords on the specific pages. You'll get a better ranking if you use terms that are similar to the specific words on the subpages. It is ok to duplicate the keywords however it is not recommended to have the same keywords on every page.
