The keyword density of a page or article will be home many times, usually as a percentage, the keyword/keyphrase shows up - e.g. your kw density in a webpage might be about 2-3% so that phrase would be showing up between 8 and 12 times in a page with a word count of 400 words. Keyword proximity counts how close those phrases are to eachother, so a webpage with a menu system stuffed full of keywords might have such a close proximity that it would be flagged as spam. Both of these parameters can gauge how natural the writing/language of a page is, so if it's been overdone/keyword stuffed then the density & proximity together will determine this, so it's best to write naturally and go lightly on the SEO of body text.
Keyword proximity refer as closeness between the keywords. It means how much they are close to each other. As far as keyword density it refers to ratio between the keywords and number of words on the web page. Thanks,
Keyword proximity = how close key phrases are to each other. You should never break your most important keywords as search engines calculate keyword proximity and give value to it. When properly used, it can give higher positions in search results as keyword proximity in title tag is considered to be one of the most important factors of determining SERP positions. Keyword Density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. We have to use the keyword within proper keyword density (less than 5%)
Keyword Density: % of keyword used to total words Keyword proximity: Its about where you use it. If you use it at the beginning the KP is higher. If you use keyword at the end its low. Some formulas consider all occurrence of keywords in page to calculate KP. For example if you use keyword once at the beginning & once at the end of page the KP will be lower as compare KP for use of keyword twice at the beginning of page.
