Keywords or Description Tag First?

I want to know that what should be used first Keywords or Description Tag in the head portion.

I dont think it really matters to be honest, however personally I would put descriptions before keywords.

 

I put meta description first as it is more important than meta keywords, although i don't know if theres much difference if any...

 

Description, keywords, alt tags ...

 

As long as you have meta keyword and meta description its OK. It doesn't matter if what would you put first. But since meta keywords are ignore by spiders I think meta description is more important than meta keywords because meta description are use by search engine to display on search result of your site.

 

Order doesn't decide the importance. As long as you have them its ok.

 

the order actually doesnt matter. But i put description first then the keywords.
It also looks good if description comes first..

 

Personally I wouldn't bother having keywords. It is unlikely to have any effect on your rankings anymore.

 

I would not agree with this statement. Every little bit of on-page optimization helps in ranking and keyword is one of them.

 

As it was said, order doesn't matter because they are all going to be read by the search enigines.

But for the sake organization, I personally got with Title>Description>Keywords.
