Lets say you are targeting low comp, high search volume keywords and you are working with a squeeze page. Would you put these keywords in your landing page or would u put higher competitive keywords on the squeeze page. DOes it even matter since squeeze pages don't really rank in good well?
A squeeze page alone on a domain may not rank that well but one on a site built around a blog would with links from the blog through to the squeeze page. In your scenario it depends how aggresively you are promoting your page and if your confident that you can compete for those other terms.
yes landing pages should have some keywords on it it helps in search engine rankings as well as quality score if you are doing PPC advertising
It all depends on your SEO skills, but if you're new to the game, I suggest sticking with keywords that gains about 10k per month. It's pretty much the only way you will get on first page until you learn/gain the resources you need for more completive KWs. Trust me, low searched KW brings in a decent amount of traffic.
I'm optimized my each and every website like my main keywords put in main page like high search volume and high competition keywords in main pages and long phrase keywords in inner page
i prefer landing pages to optimize my sites and only 1-3 keywords for a page and for other keywords optimize as per their landing pages.
I think it would be very unusual for the keywords not to be on the page. If you had another page on that site that was a better match for those keywords, then you would be using that as your landing page. If not, then the page you are talking about has to be the one. Can you give any examples where you wouldn't use the phrase that you were targetting on the page?
I believe we should put both high and lower demand but profitable keywords on the squeeze page. Then, these keywords should also be included on other content that is linking to this page.
