Keywords on Each Page?

Discussion in 'Keywords' started by Karen615, Aug 25, 2008.

I noticed that the designer who designed a friend's Web site only put keywords on the index page. My friend has about 90 pages. Should there be keywords on every page? If so, should they be entirely different or is it OK to duplicate a few. How does this work?

    Program used: Dreamweaver CS3

    Thanks

    Thank you
Should they be unique to the content on their respective pages?

Every pages should have unique tags. Keyword that you will use in each page will be according your topics. These steps will help you the most in your site seo because relevancy plays a very important role.

    Hello Santam,
If you want to optimise your site for user and searchengine perspective then you should have to use unique meta for each page.
You can optimize your site for different targeting keywords as you are saying your site have more than 90 pages then its better opportunity to optimize your site for search engine because search engine like a site which have large number of pages with unique content and uniuqe meta tag.
    Thanks

Every page needs to have a title, but the home page is the most important to have keywords on, keywords can be put on other important pages as well, but it isn't entirely necessary.
