Can i use Keywords META Tag and Description META Tag at the same time? And what is the maximum keywords can I put for the keywords meta tag?
You can definitely use both at the same time. However, most search engines have depreciated the Meta tag to the point it is relatively useless. I'm not entirely sure how useful the Description tag is now. As for how many words, I don't think there is a firm rule. The best advice would be probably few as possible.
Yes, you can use both. As the Keyword Meta Tag has been severely abused, Google doesn't give any importance to it. But it's good to have a few keywords if you have adsense with pictures or videos, and no text. Don't overload it, I say put 2-3 relevant keywords.
Why not? It has never been stated before that those two cannot be used together at the same time. However, just try to limit the number of keywords you insert in to around 6-7. Above that number may not be good for seo.
The description tad is still important. You keyword tag does nothing regarding Google. I still use it though. Just don't stuff it with a ton a keywords. Be succinct about it. hope that helps, Nigel
The keywords meta tag is not important as far as Google is concerned; however, the meta description tag is still quite important.
meta description + keywords meta tag both plays an important role, u can use upto 1000 words in keywords meta but dont repeat a keyword more then 3 times (it will be cosidered as spam), u should also put ur keywords in page content, in title and in description tooo like i did at www(dot)playndownload(dot)com visit that and right clck for source . . . i got my site indexed in relatively better way within 4 Days
