I am facing problem that many of our keywords which are in good ranking in Bing dramatically came down even some of them loose their position. Is anyone here also facing such problem? Is this Bings policy change or something else? Can anyone suggest me the reasons?
It is perhaps to do with the expansion based changes involving the assimilation of Yahoo. although I have seen no data myself to suggest major alterations to policy. Should have been *spelt* really shouldn't it!
What keywords and how long did you rank for them before your rankings dropped, and how much? I've been watching bing more, and from what I see the results are pretty darn stable.
There are so many websites, I was working from last 6 months or from before but from the month of June I notice many of the keywords losing the ranking.
all search engines evolve constantly or die. Whatever changes Bing made recently appear to have had a negative impact on your rankings. s Darwin said, it's not the strongest that survive, it's those most responsive to change
May be you are right!! But how can I be so sure about this. Can anyone tell what changes should I have to implement to improve position of keywords in Bing now!
yes, but they'd be out of date by the time you read them. that's the essential nature of evolution. You're like a dinosaur asking 'what should I do to survive the comet?'
If you improve Bing keywords ranking then focus on these tips. 1) Manage Length of Your Content 2) On-Page Tips for Bing 3) Bing Linking 4) Keyword Targeting 5) Meta Tags 6) Continue All Other Good SEO Practices
man these search engines change algorithms like we change underwear, it seems to be losing propostion
yes, I think every time, the algorithm of google or search engine is always changed. So, the effect of changing of algorithm, the position of your site is changed too..
i would like to say keep some forums posting regularly, social bookmarking, blog postings with genuine and quality content.
keep posting in Microsoft blogs. And find some bing friendly blog websites and comment with your website keyword it will be helpful.
It seems Bing's experiments on their engine has also affected social networking sites. (removed link-just search the news about it). Even the other search engine: Google is also kind of like downgrading Facebook. I wonder. Why would Microsoft or Bing "downgrade" links to facebook when Microsoft and Facebook are kind of like allies?
