I see no problem creating a domain name featuring words like 'LoserForum' or 'NewbieRipOffForum'.

Bottom line, OP, is you're going to have problems if you register and use a trademark in your domain name, especially if you're aiming to make money off of that w/o
its owner's permission. There's bunch of threads about this here, there and everywhere.

Steer well clear of any trademark domain names. While many website owners register trademarked names and get away with it, the trademark owner could come down on you like a ton of bricks whenever they feel like it and you don't have a leg to stand on.

Ages ago I registered a domain with a well known videogame console in the title. I was oblivious at the time but a friend said I'd better be careful for legal reasons. I was a bit concerned so actually got in touch with the company's legal department who said that they do not licence their name for use on domains other than those they own themselves and while they were not going to act against me at that time, they might at any time in the future. That's all they said so I took the site down and let it expire.

Be careful and just because other sites may get away with it, you might not!

Using keywords like Facebook, yahoo and google in your domain names can be risky since these are trademarks and i recommend not to do this :)

Yes it is allowed but better not to register due to legal copyright issues.

Yep you may build a successful site only to see it striped away from you because of legal issues later on, its not worth the risk.

As a general rule, don't use a trademark in your domain name, unless it's something like GoogleSucks.com - you can get away with that as free speech, or satire, etc.

You can use other's name in your domain, unless the name is trademarked. you can check tradermarks at www dot uspto dot gov/trademarks/index.jsp

I own about 30 trademark domains, with some of them I am making an OK income but as soon as i get the letter from their lawyers I am going to stop - it's an OK short term strategy but not for the long run
