Keywords in URL vs backlinks

    both are important....but backlinks is much2 important than exact domain keyword......the site with keyword in their domain rank well in google...

    You can rank to first place without single backlink if your keyword in the url for medium competitive keywords.

    OO You need to change your strategy now, on 27th google has updated the result page structure, www. googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/10/place-search-faster-easier-way-to-find.html and things are different for ranking on local keywords, like yours.

    Things to do for your site.

    - Submit your site in Google places and business listing.
    - Add Content in your site it has very low content to index, make use of blog with fine internal linking in case you don'tr want to update your site structure.
    - Submit Articles in article publishing sites.
    - Submit your site in classified directories.
    - Submit your site in directories specially which have categories of places, e.g. like Dmoz.

    Do it asap, before the competition level go high in Local listing.
