    Hello Friends,
I have been working on one of the SEO project from past few months and by working consistently on this I had achieved my first target that is to bring all the keywords on top ten position but now I am focusing to bring these in top 5 position and some of the techniques which I am using are directory submission, social bookmarking, forum posting, blogging, article submission etc., Still by using all these techniques the keywords are not yet stable on their position for example one of the keyword was on position 4 and now it has dropped down to position 7. Please suggest some techniques which can be helpful to bring all the keywords in top 5 positions and make them stable.
    Thanks.

Admin- I think that this the best category for this if you find it wrong please shift this thread. thank you

5 PR 5 backlinks are much worthy than 500 PR1 backlinks so keep this in mind while building quality links!!!

    HI
first choose the keyword with low completion, a good keyword mean half the betel is won, then promote the keyword on high rank sites.

Before anything else, make sure you are giving Google frequent new content on your sites to crawl that is related to the keywords you want to rank for.

Then look at your competition. Are they sites that you can budge out of their spots? If they aren't excessively dominant, do some research into what they are doing. Where are they getting backlinks from? How are their tags, URL's, page titles, etc set up?

When getting backlinks, quantity is good, but quality is better. Make sure you aren't just gathering links everywhere you can get them. Google doesn't give much weight to a link from an auto parts website when your site is about gardening. Focus on getting relevant backlinks and backlinks from sites that Google views highly. You can spend an hour submitting to 15 random sites you quickly find that have doFollow or you can spend that hour finding 2-3 relevant sites with good PR and Google ranking that will pay out a lot more than your 15 random sites.

Consider making some mini-sites too. What I mean by this is get a blogger site started on the subject you want to rank well for. Then head over to Squidoo and make a few lenses on related subjects. Look at other sites that allow you to do similar things, building up your own small network of pages linking in that have content you control.

When submitting to article directories, make sure you are using good anchor text when available and are providing truly unique and well-written articles that are filled with content that is highly relevant. There are lots of places you can get backlinks from but that list gets smaller when you control a large part of the on-page content and even smaller when you narrow it down to the most relevant and worthwhile backlink sources. When you find them, take the time to get them right and put real effort into it. Don't ruin your potential link juice on those high value pages by being lazy and not writing up very high quality standout content.

When you find some blogs that are highly relevant, look for contact information for the admin of the blog. Ask them if they would allow you to write some unique content for their blog in exchange for a backlink. You might be surprised at how many will take you up on the offer if you write good content that they think their readers will use. Some will even let you have a front-page one-way link if you give them a few different articles for their site. When contacting them, be clear about what you want and have high quality examples to show them so they don't have to contact you back except to say yes or no. Make it as easy for them to say yes as possible without having to contact you multiple times.

    Great tips from mvhovingh.

Do keep in mind: Your rankings for keywords can never be 100% stable. Google is always updating its algorithm and your competitors are also doing SEO. So you'll see your rankings go up and down as a result. All you can do is keep at what you are doing now.

Your on the right track, just build on Higher PR sites. Don't bother with directory submission or forum posting as G doesn't give these backlinks much weight anymore. I know some will disagree but Live Experiments has proved this. SEO is changing.

The Best backlinks to get are In-content High PR Blog Posts. You'll want to get High PR Blog Posts then backlink those posts with the Blog comments and bookmarks. Kinda like Tier 1,Tier 2 method when linking. You want the Quality/High PR links pointing to your Money Site then pointing the more spammy links like Blog comments(Tier 2) to your High PR Blog Posts(Tier 1). This way only Quality Backlinks are pointing to your Money site.

Same goes for Article Marketing. After submitting your Articles to High PR Article Directories build links to the articles with Blog comments and Bookmarks. Doing this gives those article links more juice through to your Money site. You want to diversify your Keywords and build links to all inter-pages of your site.
