I have this question that I could not find an answer in Google. For SEO to have the keyword you target in the URL is good, right? so if I target "Cool Moments in -keyowrd- Movie" (just an example) and I use www.thecoolmoments.com domain. what should my URL structure be for best SEO? www,thecoolmoments,com/movie-name or www,thecoolmoments,com/cool-moments-gladiator-moviee ?(commas are put for forum software not to generate links) I know its important to have keywords in the url but also Google is said to not like long and keyword rich URLs. The thing is I already have half of the keywords in the domain itself. So, does having part of the target phrase in the domain and other part in the url work well? Which one should I choose? Thanks
My preference is: www,thecoolmoments,com/movie-name It's easier for your visitors to read and does not duplicate cool moments in the url. IMO this is the best choice not only for SEO, but for you and your visitors.
NOT True. keyword in the URL is more important. not only it represents your product with related keyword, you cannot edit the URL either. where its easy to edit the title/description. anything easy to manipulate carries less weight
Having the keywords in your domain will certainly help with seo, but keep them quite short and memorable for your visitors.
yes! keyword in URL really helps on SEO. But you must have to target your keyword if you really want to get on top in SERP...
you can take it as a challenge by not putting your keyword on the domain. after all, there are still many ways to get a boost in ranking...
