I have a new client struggling for seo and WP inserts the name of the blog at the end of each permalink eg: "post new job - mbc recruitment" - which is fairly common default for WP However since the word 'recruitment' is their absolute grail and as it appears commonly throughout the post text is it possible that Google is disregarding this keyword or worse penalising them for keyword stuffing.
with that format i doubt you are talking about permalink. maybe about <title> or <meta description> ?
just use your title as permalink and use in in your keywords for more information plz visit http://latestinworld.com
if you use it only once in title its ok, would be spammy if you use many times in <title> tag but 1 is ok, it doesnt mix with web body.
Are you asking how to do this? Just add your permalinks to use the title tag and then include the keyword in the title tag and you'll achieve that result.
Since your client's site is in WP platform and you would would like to put 'Keyword' (not Keywords) in permalink, then you might use "Yoast SEO" plugin is best and best of all. Because it provides easy scope to edit the permalink is one of the powerful way to empower the post SEO friendly.
Actually after hamming bird updates google change their algorithm that all should use keyword in permalink , no need to take exact match keyword. so one should add keyword like abc dot com / keyword-extension
