   When using a keyword in the naming structure of your site, is there an advantage in the Googlebot weight of a sub-domain over a a sub-directory?
   
   I mean is www.keyword.mydomain.com going to rank higher then www.mydomain.com/keyword/ ?

   Both are same. Anyway some believe that subdomain structure give more weight in the serps
